Job Title:

  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Portland, OR Employment Type: Full-Time; Sunday-Tuesday 8a-6p Pay Rate: $21.50–$22.50/hour (based on experience) Community Access Services is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Portland, OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community based setting.
  • No experience required – paid training provided!

What You’ll Do as a Direct Support Professional:

  • Develop meaningful, person-centered relationships that support independence, dignity, and personal choice.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, personal care, and household routines.
  • Support individuals in community participation, recreation, appointments, and working toward personal goals.
  • Encourage skill development, confidence, and social connections.
  • Follow individualized support plans (full training provided).
  • Administer medications safely and keep accurate records.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Serve as a positive role model and advocate for the needs and preferences of those you support.

What We’re Looking for in a Direct Support Professional:

  • Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or human services professional is a plus, but not required — training is provided At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver Ability to pass a national background check Compassionate communicator with patience, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal abilities Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist individuals with mobility needs Dependable, respectful, and committed to person-centered support Why You’ll Love Working at CAS: Competitive Pay: $21.50–$22.50/hour (based on experience) Free Training: CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and more!
