Product Engineer I

Compensation Range : $79,000 – $93,500
(Compensation is determined by a combination of an individual’s relevant work experience and educational requirements.)
Purpose
The Product Engineer I at Trillium Flow Technologies is an entry-level engineering professional responsible for supporting product design, documentation, and lifecycle activities for engineered flow control products. This role assists senior engineers and cross-functional teams in executing engineering changes, maintaining technical documentation, supporting product validation, and resolving manufacturing and product quality issues. The position provides foundational engineering experience while contributing to safe, reliable, and high-quality product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, revise, and maintain engineering documentation including manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, models, bills of materials (BOMs), and related technical documents
Support engineering change activities, including ECNs, BOM updates, and document revision control
Assist with product lifecycle support activities, including design updates, standardization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support product qualification and validation testing, including test setup, execution, data collection, and documentation
Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to troubleshoot and resolve product and production issues
Provide technical support to manufacturing, assembly, testing, purchasing, and planning teams as needed
Maintain accurate engineering data in PLM and ERP systems
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Adhere to Trillium Flow Technologies’ code of conduct and all company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (required)
0–2 years of engineering experience (internships, co-ops, or academic project experience acceptable)
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred
SolidWorks Associate certification preferred
Basic working knowledge of CAD and PLM systems; experience with Creo and Windchill preferred
Understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation in a manufacturing environment
Foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their practical application
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented engineering and manufacturing environment
