Our client, a locally owned and highly respected MEP engineering company , is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and HVAC and / or plumbing design expertise to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities :

  • Design & Drafting : Create HVAC and plumbing system designs using Revit and / or AutoCAD for various building types, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Project Management : Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through completionset schedules, assign resources, monitor budgets, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Technical Review & Field Support : Review mechanical design submittals and provide on-site support to resolve conflicts, answer RFIs, and ensure design integrity.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Business Development : Foster relationships with existing clients and contribute to winning new projects.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters degree a plus)
  • Current PE License (Professional Engineer)
  • 6+ years of HVAC and / or plumbing design experience, including project management for commercial, multifamily, educational, healthcare, or municipal facilities
  • Proficiency in Revit (primary CAD tool) and AutoCAD
  • Experience with HVAC modeling software such as TRACE700, CHVAC7.0, or AIRMaster preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
