A Day in the Life of a Service Manager

As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a team of up to 10 technicians and play a key role in branch operations. You will guide hiring, performance coaching, customer communication, and route optimization. You’ll also champion our culture by building a team environment where people feel supported, motivated, and empowered to grow in their careers.

Every day, you’ll be part coach, part problem-solver, and part culture champion—while helping protect homes, families, and businesses.

  • What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support a team of up to 10 technicians at our Charlotte location
  • Recruit, hire, and train new and existing team members
  • Coach performance, conduct ride-alongs, and deliver ongoing development
  • Support routing and scheduling efficiency across technician territories
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage service performance and customer updates
  • Build customer relationships and increase service retention
  • Monitor team metrics and provide real-time feedback and performance reports
  • Drive engagement and teamwork through positive leadership

  • What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience managing a team of 5 or more employees
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Goal-driven with a hands-on leadership style
  • Ability to manage time, solve problems, and make decisions independently
  • A passion for building teams and developing people
  • "Fire in the belly" attitude and competitive mindset to win
