Job Summary:
The Career & Transfer Education Advisor is accountable to the Assistant Director, Career Education for providing career advising, transfer coaching, informing students of available college services, and referring students to appropriate college/community resources.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required and three years of experience related to career counseling or career education, human resources, or similar field.
Licensing Requirements: Valid driver's license.
Required to be compliant with PA Child Protective Service Laws. For additional information, please visit
Hiring Range: $48,182-$60,227
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education, particularly at the community college level
Experience with career counseling and with career development
Experience having worked with multiple career assessment tools and an understanding of labor market data
Experience in transfer advising, particularly at the community college level
