General Description : This position reports to the Program Security Manager and will support facilities located in Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Camarillo, and Malibu, CA. HRL seeks a Security Support Specialist with experience across security and administrative domains. This role offers significant growth opportunities within the security organization.

Essential Duties : Duties will include (but are not limited to) :

• Acting as the point of contact for security support requests; assisting with entry-level security and administrative tasks
• Escorting in secure areas; managing secure area build administration
• Security badge management
• Shipping and receiving
• Interfacing with internal and external customers to support security projects
• Contributing to the development of security SOPs and process flows
• Coordinating special events
• Organizing and scheduling meetings and travel
• Managing office supplies and equipment

Required Skills : Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision, with a positive attitude. Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and creating fillable forms. Minimum of two years in a high-paced environment. Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or security is required. Experience with expense reports, purchase orders, petty cash, and knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, and DoD directives. Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to coordinate across departments and work well in a team environment.

Required Education : High School diploma with 2+ years related experience or Bachelors degree with 1+ years related experience.

Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk on hilly terrain, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift equipment. Must occasionally lift / move up to 60 pounds with team lift or equipment.

Special Requirements : Must be a US Citizen, possess and maintain a Top Secret / SCI clearance, pass a polygraph, and be available to work weekends or various shifts.

Compensation : Salary range is $82,400 - $103,053 plus bonus and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Specifics will be shared during hiring.
