Position : Facilities & Equipment Manager

Location : Remote (within driving distance to P1 Dental Partners' Indiana and Illinois regions); Corporate Office : Indianapolis, IN Perks & Benefits :

  • Description : Oversees construction and design projects to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, architectural standards, and contractual requirements. Performs or facilitates inspections of all parts of the organization's grounds and facilities; approves renovations, maintenance, and installations when necessary. Also oversees equipment purchases and installation in individual practices. Upholds P1's core values and always represents the company in a professional manner.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Has direct oversight and management of all facility construction projects
  • Oversees all lease management agreements
  • Responsible for creation, training, and oversight of facility equipment maintenance programs
  • Manages P1 practice buildouts from start to finish ensuring project is completed on time and on budget
  • Plans activities, solves complex problems, and makes recommendations for best uses of space for their organizations
  • Provide ways to improve existing space and makes recommendations for new locations
  • Directs practice construction projects, budgets, and delivery timelines
  • Oversees multiple projects at one time
  • Prepares project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to project specifications
  • Ensures quality and adherence to design specifications, building codes, and blueprints for new store or remodeling construction projects
  • Responsible for partnering and monitoring of contractors / builders
  • Authorizes changes to schedule or materials
  • Work with Construction Administrator to define and refine a detailed construction process
  • Leads by example, friendly and energetic with a passion for helping people
  • Results-oriented with the ability to push self and others towards success
  • Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
  • Handles all equipment request, negotiations, and purchases for P1 practices.
  • Facilitates annual CAPEX budget creation and monitors throughout the year
  • Creates equipment inventory and maintenance schedule
  • Other duties as assigned
  • What We're Looking For :

  • 3+ years of relevant experience managing project builds
  • Thorough understanding of dental equipment and related technology
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight
