We are currently searching for a Project Engineer to join our Concrete Restoration Division. You are responsible for maintaining RAM Construction Services' standard of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with Estimators, Project Managers, & Superintendents to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist in the preparation of job estimates and compile data to assist in analyzing project progress
  • Recommend and analyze materials and equipment used in the project
  • Offer technical information to project managers and superintendents to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate change orders, expedite material and job site equipment
  • Inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Education & Qualifications :

  • Minimum education level of a bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field of study
  • 2 years of experience in Construction or related fields preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction documents : RFI, Submittals, Change Orders, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs. Experienced with Procore, a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • The ability to work with multiple projects and rapidly shifting priorities
  • Understanding of project management and job estimating
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • A valid drivers license
  • Travel : Travel to and from job sites is required. RAM will compensate for travel expenses if applicable.

    Work Environment : As a Project Engineer for RAM, the employee will be exposed to both an office and a job site / field setting. Work environments may include, but are not limited to, seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing / walking, indoor / outdoor settings, and areas close to traffic.
