In this role, you will train in total store operations at your home store for the first 13 months. After the initial training, you will be assigned to assist with operations at any of our 260+ locations across 34 states.

Once you begin traveling, you should expect to spend the majority of the year on assignment until you promote.

There are two primary travel assignment types :

• 5-day assignment : Depart on Monday and return on Friday.
• 10-day assignment : Depart on Monday and return the following Friday (12 days total, including travel). You will have the weekend off while on location.

All travel and accommodations are fully covered by 84 Lumber.

What you will do :

The Field Operations Manager is a full-time, entry-level role on the management career path. This position offers hands-on experience in store operations with the ultimate goal of progressing up the ladder into a leadership role within 84 Lumber.

As a Field Ops Manager, youll complete a comprehensive learning plan and course of study, equipping you with the skills needed to move into a management position. Promotion opportunities are performance based and aligned with position availability. Advancement to a General Manager is achievable within 3-4 years contingent upon your performance. Field Operations Managers must complete a learning plan and course of study as outlined within the assigned timeframe and must be willing to relocate for management position.
