Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support a senior housing community in Monterey Park. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about resident relations and has hands-on experience in affordable housing.
Key Requirements :
Minimum 1 year of HUD or low-income housing experience
Proficiency with Yardi property management software
Responsibilities :
Assist with daily property operations for a HUD senior living community
Support leasing activities, resident relations, and move-in / move-out processes
Ensure compliance with HUD and affordable housing program requirements
Process rent payments, vendor invoices, and maintain accurate financial records
Utilize Yardi for data entry, reporting, and resident / account management
Coordinate with maintenance teams, service coordinators, and on-site staff
Respond to resident inquiries and foster a positive living environment
Prepare notices, documentation, and correspondence as needed
Assist with annual recertifications, inspections, and file audits
Maintain organized records and provide administrative support to the Property Manager
Location : Monterey Park
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM or 8 : 30 AM-5 : 30 PM
Compensation : $30-$34 / hr
Type : Temporary with potential to go Temp-to-Hire
