Business Development Manager – LTTS & Syntel : Drive client acquisition, expand key accounts, and grow revenue pipeline.

Location : Remote- Only India based candidate

Employment Type : Full-Time

This role is part of a high-growth business unit focused on driving strategic client engagements and revenue expansion in the engineering and digital services ecosystem.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead business growth initiatives for strategic accounts within LTTS and Syntel portfolios.

In this client-facing, target-driven role, you will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, and collaborate with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure successful execution.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong sales acumen with consultative engagement skills in the engineering and IT services domain.

General Expectation

  • Own client acquisition and account expansion
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for LTTS and Syntel business units.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities within assigned verticals.

Lead the complete business development lifecycle

  • Prospect, pitch, and build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Drive RFP / RFI responses, proposal creation, and pricing negotiations.
  • Manage contracts and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with delivery and recruitment leaders

  • Align business growth with delivery capacity and capability.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality client fulfillment.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop a healthy sales funnel and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Monitor account health, margins, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Market research and intelligence

  • Stay updated on market trends, client business priorities, and competitor strategies.
  • Translate insights into actionable business strategies and solution offerings.
  • Strengthen brand presence

  • Represent the organization in client meetings, industry forums, and networking events.
  • Promote the company’s value proposition and service portfolio effectively.

  • 8–12 years of experience in business development or account management within engineering or IT services.
  • Proven track record in managing LTTS, Syntel, or similar Tier 1 / Tier 2 client accounts.
  • Experience driving revenue through staffing, engineering, or digital transformation services.
  • Strong understanding of talent-based delivery models and technology services.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
