Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Responsibilities

Own monthly and quarterly close processes through timely / accurate pacing updates, variance analysis, journal entries, expense accruals, allocations, and other necessary closing activities

Own key financial deliverables across planning cycles (LRP, Budget, Quarterly Estimates) and related analysis for P&L, Capital and Balance Sheet

Create, update, and maintain operating models to assist with monthly forecasting, budgeting, and reporting (headcount, close packages, pacings)

Partner with FP&A to perform variance, trend, and KPI analysis across the O&T Portfolio

Prepare monthly / quarterly presentations for senior executives and leaders including preparation of monthly operating review decks and supporting documents

Integrate into RCO teams to support cost management from an operational and financial perspective

Lead a team of 3 finance professionals

Qualifications / Requirements

7+ years of finance experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance / accounting (MBA, CPA a plus)

Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Senior Management

Exceptional experience in developing and reporting business performance metrics

Proven experience of financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting

Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products - particularly advanced excel skills and PowerPoint

Proven experience as a people-leader, with a track record for selecting and developing high-performing talent

Additional Information

This position has been designated as hybrid, currently contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. As of January 5th, 2026, this role will transition to a minimum of four days per week in the office to align with NBCU's updated in-office schedule.

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000 (bonus & LTI eligible).
