Description

The CNA 2 / HUC is a key person within the decentralized nursing unit, who provides overall administrative and technical support in the operation of the unit; collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight, and operation of the unit; and performs CNA II patient care duties.

Required Qualifications :

Coursework / Training : Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience. or equivalent educ / experience

Health Unit Coordinator : 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in a health care environment.

Coursework / Training : Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. or equivalent educ / experience

CNA 2 coursework : Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.

Experience with a variety of software applications.

Upon hire : Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License

Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications :

1 year Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and / or Health Unit Coordinator duties.

1 year Experience as a CNA 2.
