Job Title : Wastewater / Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CQA Utility Technician to join our team. The role involves working in the lab, performing wastewater testing, quality inspections, and other assigned duties. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting coils, performing tests, and managing the process of treating coils to ensure compliance with PH permit limits. Additionally, this position requires conducting various tests, including titrations and physical testing, to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect coils and perform testing to ensure quality.
• Manage the process of treating coils, including making baths and treating water.
• Ensure compliance with PH permit limits through testing and documentation.
• Perform titrations and correct baths when out of specification.
• Document test results and maintain spreadsheets.
• Conduct multiple tests on coils based on customer specifications.
• Communicate with production regarding coil defects and issues.
• Perform blister testing and communicate results to mill representatives.

Work Environment

This role is set in a union environment, but the position itself is non-union. Candidates should be open to working various shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts, with potential overtime. Shifts may require working up to 10-12 hours and rotating on Saturdays. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walbridge, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
