Position : Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Location : Bronx, New York

Schedule : 3–5 Days / Week

About the Opportunity

A large, well-established multispecialty group with locations throughout the Greater NYC area is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join its Bronx team. This outpatient role offers a supportive, patient-focused environment and flexible scheduling for 3–5 days per week.

The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible, have at least 1 year of post-training psychiatric experience. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required. H1B visa sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care in an outpatient setting

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions

Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication use, and mental health resources

Qualifications

Active / Eligible New York State Nurse Practitioner license

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Minimum 1 year of post-training psychiatric experience

Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Spanish language proficiency preferred, not required
