As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Smyrna, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Tue 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Thur 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sat 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Sun 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
