About the Opportunity

Abel Personnel is seeking a motivated Employment Attorney for a respected Pennsylvania law firm known for its excellence in employment, labor, healthcare, corporate, and litigation law .

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for an attorney looking to grow within a collaborative, professional, and flexible environment. The firm values work / life balance, mentorship, and professional development , offering hybrid and remote work options.

Position Overview

The Employment Attorney will join a dynamic employment and litigation practice , handling a variety of client matters across Pennsylvania. This role offers hands-on case experience , client interaction, and the chance to build long-term professional relationships within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and counsel clients on a range of employment law issues , including :

FMLA administration, ADA accommodations, and compliance policies

  • Employee handbooks, background checks, internal investigations, and workplace policies
  • Wage and hour issues, union contracts, non-compete agreements, and OSHA matters
  • Defend clients in employment-related claims such as discrimination, FLSA, ADA, and unemployment compensation.
  • Assist in civil and commercial litigation , including discovery, trial preparation, and hearings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and memoranda .
  • Conduct seminars, webinars, and updates on emerging employment law developments.
  • Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • 1–5 years of relevant employment law experience
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities

  • Salary : $80,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
