Manager, Strategic Partnerships And M&A

DaVita Venture Group (DVG) is the innovation and investment arm of DaVita, focused on transforming care delivery to improve quality of life for patients around the globe. DVG leverages a mix of acquisition, partnership, and venture investment strategies to develop products and services that improve care for patients suffering from kidney disease and related comorbidities. We are seeking up to two creative, passionate, and driven professionals with interest in healthcare to join our team. The positions are based in Denver, CO and the team operates in a hybrid (in-person / remote) model.

Manager, Strategic Partnerships

The primary focus of this role will be driving the assessment, diligence, and execution of strategic partnerships related to tech-enabled services, medical devices and analytic products, and other areas across both early-stage and established companies.

Manager, M&A

The primary focus of this role will be supporting the strategy, identification and execution of acquisitions and investments to support DaVita's long-term growth goals. Areas of focus include healthcare services, value-based care, technology and diagnostics, among other strategic areas.

Qualifications & Required Skillset :

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate development / strategic partnerships, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably in healthcare
  • Experience executing or advising on transactions in healthcare
  • Experience assessing strategic opportunities through financial modeling, diligence, and data analysis
  • Familiarity with the clinical, operational, and financial drivers that impact decision-making in a healthcare organization
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and deliver organizational objectives through immediate team of direct reports
  • Intellectually curious mindset and passion for developing novel acquisition and partnership strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented workstyle and resourceful problem-solver
  • Capability and desire to build strong internal / external network within the healthcare industry
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize across multiple initiatives, and navigate change / ambiguity effectively
