Overview :

Bloom is seeking a freelance Video Editor to support the execution of digital-first creative across performance marketing and brand storytelling. This role will collaborate closely with the creative team to cut high-converting short-form videos for ads, organic social, influencer content, and product launches. The ideal candidate is a fast, detail-obsessed editor with a passion for pacing, visual polish, and content that stops the scroll.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Edit a high volume of short-form video content (560 seconds) for platforms like TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts, etc.
  • Build A / B variations to optimize performance across ads and organic channels
  • Incorporate brand elements including motion graphics, supers, and product callouts
  • Sync audio with precision (VO, music, SFX) and manage sound mixing for final delivery
  • Apply color correction and creative grading techniques to ensure cohesive and premium visual quality
  • Prep and export videos based on specific platform specs (Meta, TikTok, Reels, YouTube, etc.)
  • Optimize footage for clarity, pacing, storytelling, and emotional engagement

    • Key Qualifications :

  • 35+ years of experience in digital video editing for social-first or performance creative
  • Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (and / or DaVinci Resolve for color grading); After Effects is a strong bonus
  • Strong understanding of editing for direct response video ads, including hooks, pacing, and conversion tactics
  • Proven experience with color correction and color grading for consistency across deliverables
  • Familiarity with sound design and motion graphics for digital channels
  • Comfortable working with raw influencer content, UGC, product b-roll, and lifestyle footage
  • Excellent file hygiene, version control, and post-production workflow management
  • Bonus : experience in beauty, wellness, health, or ecommerce brands
