The Position

The CMC Process Development Summer Intern will support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies for oligonucleotide and antibody conjugation, supporting Arrowhead's Antibody–Oligonucleotide Conjugate (AOC) and oligo-bioconjugate programs. The intern will contribute to process understanding and optimization efforts aimed at improving manufacturing throughput and crude conjugate impurity profiles. This role provides exposure to cutting-edge bioconjugation technologies, analytical techniques, and collaborative process development in an industrial setting.

This is an 11-week Summer Internship Program paying $21.00 per hour and requires full-time, onsite work five days per week at the designated location.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with CMC Process Development team members to execute experiments using flow chemistry systems and tangential flow filtration (TFF).
• Support process development efforts for AOC programs and oligo-bioconjugates formed off resin.
• Perform analytical characterization of oligonucleotide and antibody intermediates and conjugates using standard HPLC and mass spectrometry (MS).
• Characterize and identify process- and product-related impurities.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of experimental procedures and results.
• Discuss experimental outcomes with team members and contribute to data interpretation.
• Manage time effectively to meet project milestones and internship goals.
