Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Site

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Site in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout a commercial real estate location. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while monitoring the premises. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Thur 04 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM

Fri 04 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at commercial real estate locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas as required by site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
