Summary : Performs cashier duties in the store and grill during assigned. Responsibilities lie in the area of store and grill operations and include guest service, cleaning, processing customer cash and credit card transactions, cash drawer balancing, prevent and report shoplifters, and promote store and grill profitability. Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions :

• Promote profitability by providing excellent guest service to customers and other employees.
• Ensure that vendors follow agreements as instructed.
• Complete all shift inventories.
• Complete all shift checklists.
• Complete assigned duties on scheduled shift.
• Balance daily cash drawer.
• Maintain and clean equipment in assigned areas.
• Understand the operation of the POS.
• Report any / all safety issues immediately.
• Promote team concept by completing assigned duties and reporting those that are incomplete.
• Communicate to the Store Supervisor or Location Manager any and all perceived or real issues involving the operation of the location.
• May be cross-trained to operate areas in the absence of an employee from another area of the company.
• Comply with established company policies, procedures, and standards such as safekeeping of company funds and property, security and inventory control policies.
• Arrive at work in proper uniform at assigned shift starting time.
• Follow all company policies as they are outlined in the employee handbook.
• Responsible to report all property safety hazards to a supervisor or manager upon discovery of the hazard.

Qualifications :

Language and Communication Skills : This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
