Centrally located at the intersection of U.S. 23 and Highway 58A, the city has for many years served the region as a commercial hub to parts of southwest Virginia and eastern Kentucky. As the largest healthcare facility in the coalfield region, Hospital provides a wide array of services through highly trained physicians and support staff. Supports a wide range of health care services including surgery, OB / GYN, pulmonary and critical care, rehabilitation services and much more. Recognized for its outstanding inpatient rehabilitation services, a black lung clinic and high-quality imaging technology. In 2016, Health Group completed the $13.3 million Health-Plex expansion. The Health-Plex not only has amazing views of the beautiful Southwest, VA mountains; but is a 39,000-square foot facility that includes a wellness center, pharmacy with drive-thru services, occupational medicine, outpatient rehabilitation, cardiac / pulmonary rehab, primary and orthopedic physician offices. 22-hospital health system, covering a 27-county area and is made up of three tertiary facilities, 19 community / critical access hospitals, seven cancer centers, 18 Urgent Care locations, 40+ primary care and multiple specialty offices through its employed arm Over 800 physicians and advanced practitioners.

- Cancer center houses medical and radiation oncology with a 20-chair infusion center, and an onsite mobile PET CT scanner all at one convenient location.
- Your patients have access to onsite dietitians, social workers, financial assistance, clinical trials / research, support groups, screenings, high-risk clinics, and Nurse Navigators to help patients in their treatment journey.
- Staff provides excellent personalized care plans to patients that help meet their unique needs.
- Physicians participate in weekly, multi-modality tumor board conferences to help provide the best possible treatment options.
- Center is one of seven locations throughout the service area that includes the advanced technologies we provide including Brachytherapy : IMRT, SBRT and SRS; Trilogy and TruBeam STX with Brain Lab.
- Center offers a beautiful lodge-like setting with mountains rising in the background including a large garden, which is situated in front of two walls of floor to ceiling windows in the infusion center.
