About MATS Healthcare Myers Assessment and Therapeutic Services (MATS) strives to provide effective, individualized, evidence-based therapy in a warm, nurturing environment which enhances the quality of life for our autism community by focusing on socially significant skill sets.

Key components to ensure successful treatment include family support through family training and in-depth initial and ongoing staff training. Position Overview Job Title Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Classification Graduate-Level, Autonomous Practitioner Department Clinical Services Reports To Clinical Director / Executive Director Employment Type Full-Time, Exempt Salary Range $80,000 – $120,000 Annually Billable Minimum 25 Billable Hours per Week Caseload Approximately 6–8 Clients (full and part-time) Pay Schedule On-Demand via Sure Payroll Locations Tyrone, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Newnan, Fairburn, GA Job Purpose The supervising BCBA provides specialized behavior intervention services via clinical direction, supervision of RBTs, BCaBAs, and/or BCBAs, and general case management, which is within his/her scope of experience and competence.

BCBAs at MATS are autonomous practitioners who lead individualized ABA programs and serve as the clinical backbone of our client care model. Required Qualifications Education & Certification:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification — active and in good standing with the BACB Georgia state licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility to obtain prior to start CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire) SafetyCare certification (training provided by MATS) Experience & Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Experience supervising RBTs, BTs, and/or BCaBAs Experience conducting skills-based assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, Vineland, PDDBI, etc.) Proficiency with CentralReach or similar ABA practice management software preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and families Benefits Package Compensation & Financial: Competitive salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually On-demand paychecks via Sure Payroll Mileage reimbursement for authorized inter-clinic travel Laptop and tablet provided Paid professional liability insurance Health & Wellness: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance effective the first day of hire Paid PTO and sick leave Free Telehealth — HIPAA-compliant Microsoft Teams Professional Development: Continuing Education reimbursement: $750.00 annually Paid conference attendance (registration, travel, hotel, and meals) Opportunities to participate in research projects and present at conferences Exclusive initial BT/RBT training, student analyst curriculum, and internal RBT certification training Clinical Tools & Technology: Exclusive access to CentralReach — MATS proprietary data collection software Virtual assessment tools: AFLS, ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PDDBI, Vineland, and more Comprehensive client resources and curriculum Options to work virtually with flexible schedule and workdays SECTION 2: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment & Program Development Conduct initial assessments for clients using MATS-approved curriculum and tools (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PDDBI, Vineland, etc.) Implement the appropriate assessment tool based on each client's needs or insurance requirements prior to individual deadlines Create individualized skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs and strategies Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop corresponding Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Conduct client re-assessments when clinically indicated or as required by payer/insurance Analyze client data and make necessary program modifications based on data-driven decision making Develop and supervise individualized ABA programs for clients in clinic, home, and community settings Supervision & Staff Development Supervise and evaluate the performance of RBTs and BTs to ensure proper implementation of treatment plans; provide training and guidance as needed Supervise BTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB supervision standards Model implementation of treatment for BCaBAs and RBTs Provide exemplary leadership through hands-on training and modeling of ethical conduct Evaluate staff performance and deliver timely, constructive written and verbal feedback Perform 1:1 and group meetings with staff to keep them informed and goal-oriented Lead, supervise, and mentor the clinical team of Behavior Technicians Review all session notes and data taken by BTs to monitor client progress and BT proficiency Caseload & Client Management Maintain a caseload of approximately 6–8 clients based on the mix of full-time and part-time clients Update and maintain appropriate programming for all clients on caseload Provide field supervision for clients as required by the treatment plan Review clinical documentation and data collection; provide feedback as needed Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with parents, team members, and outside professionals to ensure optimal client progress Maintain a positive working relationship with each client's family and respond to guardian questions in a timely and professional manner Family & Interdisciplinary Collaboration Provide parent training, resources, and guidance to ensure the highest quality of care Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and meetings with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists Conduct regular family/caregiver training sessions in natural environment settings Coordinate with families, schools, and community providers to promote consistency across all settings Documentation & Billing Complete progress reports in accordance with structured MATS deadlines Submit all billing-ready session notes daily Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week Ensure no services are rendered without an active, valid authorization on file Monitor authorization utilization and communicate proactively with the Operations Manager and Intake Coordinator Review and resolve ClaimsCheck AI billing audit flags within 24 hours Powered by JazzHR
