As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while you respond to incidents and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those requiring an armed presence.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and collaborating with healthcare staff and local authorities.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and / or security-related concerns within the healthcare location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
