The Greer Group is seeking a UST petroleum testing technician for our client in the West Virginia area. No experience is necessary -extensive and continual company training is provided. The successful applicant will be mechanically inclined, tech savvy, detail oriented, self-motivated with strong analytical and communication skills.
The majority of our business is driven by EPA regulations. As a testing technician you will travel to assigned jobsites to perform a variety of environmental compliance services for our retail, commercial and governmental clients that store petroleum based products at their facilities. You will be testing / inspecting underground tank system components for functionality and leaks. Technician will analyze, interpret and transmit results to company office.
This job requires technicians to drive a company service vehicle to job sites throughout the Bluefield and southern WV Regions. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling;climbing ladders up to 20'and lifting objects up to 50 lbs. Is required while following company safety procedures.
Occasional expense paid overnight travel may be required (5-7 nights per month). Work weeks are typically Monday-Friday 8 AM -5 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Qualifications Required :
Pre-employment and periodic random drug testing are conducted by Superior Services to ensure the safety of everyone concerned.
Experienced UST compliance testing technicians living or relocating to Morgantown WV are welcome to apply. Job is open to residents of WV ONLY.

Compensation $21-22.5 hourly, depending on related / relatable experienceProjected first year earnings with increases and overtime is $48, 000
