Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Facility Overview :

• Level III NICU
• Approximately 167 monthly deliveries
• In-house Anesthesia
• MFM : 1 day per week on site & available for consults
• EMR : EPIC
• Residency -Obstetrics & Gynecology
• NICVIEW camera system which allows parents to view their newborns 24 / 7 while they are receiving care in our NICU.
• The neonatal unit was named Claire s place after Claire Mahaffey, born in 2008 after 26 weeks of gestation.

Responsibilities (Location specific) :

• OBHG Hospitalists are responsible for all unassigned patients and any Ob / Gyn emergencies.
• OBHG Hospitalists provide back up support to midwives and private practice physicians.

Work Schedule :

• Full-Time : 5 or more 24-hour shifts per 28-day block
• Part-Time : 1 to 4 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

Requirements :

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active SD medical license
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
