Nurse Supervisor Responsible for the well-being and nursing care of all residents assigned to him / her during his / her shift. He or she provides nursing services following the patient's treatment plan or physician directions, assesses patients and responds to and reports any change in condition, distributes and charts medications, supervises the nursing assistants on duty and responds to emergencies.

Essential Functions

Collect, track and maintain patient history, record new data

Administer medication, monitor dose and response

Help patients who need assistance eating or drinking.

Take vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate and temperature.

Supervise nursing staff on duty and ensure all duties are being completed, as well as assisting when needed

Documents and reports activity as required Provides nursing care following established nursing service objectives

Attends staff meetings and in service education; and maintains regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations.

Must have experience in nursing.
