About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 3 years in the Operating Room, with strong OR skills including scrub experience.

License : Valid state license required.

Certifications : BLS required.

Must-Have : OR and Orthopedics experience required.

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room.

The role involves working in an ambulatory center with an average daily census of 20-25 patients.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Arthroscopy, and Total Joint Replacement.

Candidates will be screened for any missing required skills.

First-time travelers are not accepted unless they possess multiple employments that include Level 1 trauma.

No weekend shifts are required for this position.

The unit will not float clinicians outside their scope to meet facility needs.

Time off requests will be considered, but are limited to 40 hours total during the contract duration.

Daily patient ratios in the Operating Room will be 2 RNs per room.

Charting will be done using the EPIC system, and experience with this system is a requirement.

Candidates must provide references, preferably supervisory, from the last two years.

This position may include floating within service lines as needed.

Candidates with travel experience are preferred.
