Pay : $1,955 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Billings, MT, on a travel contract. The Physical Therapist will evaluate residents, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and experienced in geriatric rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess residents’ mobility, strength, and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide therapy interventions including gait training, balance activities, strengthening, and functional mobility exercises.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safe mobility, and the use of assistive devices.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and therapy sessions accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with occupational therapy, speech therapy, and nursing staff to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
• Promote independence, recovery, and enhanced quality of life through evidence-based therapy practices.
