Continuous Improvement Low-Code Developer (Troy, MI)

Job Summary - BeneSys is seeking a highly skilled and creative Low-Code Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and implement business solutions leveraging low-code platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in automation, data analysis, and collaborative development, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into efficient and user-friendly applications. This role requires a computationally minded individual who can decompose complex problems, identify patterns, eliminate irrelevant information, and ultimately deliver effective solutions using computer methods and tools within a low-code environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows and applications such as UiPath, Alteryx, and Power Automate.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Develop and manage solutions within the SharePoint environment, including lists, libraries, and workflows.
  • Utilize SQL knowledge to query, manipulate, and integrate data from various sources.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in and contribute to projects utilizing various Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Apply a clear understanding of UI / UX design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces within low-code platforms.
  • Understand and apply database management principles to ensure data integrity and efficient data storage.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Employ strong analytical thinking skills to understand business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions within low-code environments.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new features and capabilities within the relevant low-code platforms and related technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices and standards for low-code development within the organization.
  • Embody a creative and computational mindset, proactively seeking innovative solutions to business challenges through the conscious use of low-code tools and methodologies.
  • Decompose complex business problems into manageable components.
  • Analyze information to identify patterns, trends, and regularities.
  • Eliminate irrelevant data and focus on core requirements to develop efficient solutions.
  • Systematically develop and implement solutions using computer methods and low-code tools.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing solutions using low-code platforms.
  • Proven expertise in at least two of the following automation platforms : Alteryx, UiPath, Power Automate for robotic process automation (RPA) and workflow automation.
  • Strong experience with various Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) for data visualization and analysis.
  • Solid experience in developing and managing solutions within Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with various Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and their application in software development.
  • Clear understanding of UI / UX design principles and best practices for creating user-friendly applications.
  • Basic understanding of database management concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and development.
  • A demonstrable ability to think computationally and creatively to solve business problems.
  • Must live in one of the following states : Arizona, California, Colorado, Washington DC, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin.
  • Bonus Points

  • Project management skills or experience managing low-code development projects.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience applying Lean principles to process improvement.
  • Experience with other low-code / no-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with API integrations.
  • Work Schedule - Full time. Monday - Friday, 7 : 30am - 4 : 30pm. Permanent Remote position (No in-office days).

  • Pay - Salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Salary offered dependent on skills, experience, education, location and other business factors.
