The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care, seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to three years. Clinical responsibilities will be primarily based at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, IL, with potential expansion of coverage to affiliated sites in Tinley Park, IL, Flossmoor, IL, Orland Park, IL, and Calumet City, IL, providing inpatient clinical care during nocturnal shifts. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must : 1) hold a medical doctorate or equivalent; 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois; 3) be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Preferred qualifications include past experience in the ICU as well as Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
