Application Security Engineer

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Security team.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and fix vulnerabilities in software through code audits and security reviews

Enhance security across the full stack by addressing vulnerabilities from browser to kernel

Improve the security posture of infrastructure and mentor other engineers on best practices

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Application Security, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Software Engineering

U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret Security Clearance

Strong understanding of Linux, containerization, and networking fundamentals

Experience with incident response processes and root cause analyses

Familiarity with security tooling, CI / CD practices, and web protocols
