The Division of Surgical Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a breast surgical oncologist for the Breast Care Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The position will be reporting to the Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology at BIDMC and will also hold clinical privileges at BIDMC and participate in Tumor Board and Multidisciplinary Clinic at BIDMC. Additional privileges will be set up for Beth Israel Hospital - Needham.
Successful candidates should be board certified or board eligible in general surgery, fellowship trained in an SSO-approved breast oncology program and be eligible for a full Massachusetts medical license. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong clinical capabilities in the surgical care of patients with breast diseases and experience leading a high-volume breast program. A track record of academic productivity is required as the candidate will be involved actively in the research and academic mission of the division, including teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.

Pay Range:
$328,800 - $670,900
The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
