Research Lab Manager
The Borowsky Laboratory and the Center for Genomic Pathology (CGP) Laboratory utilize basic and advanced techniques in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, experimental pathology including creation and phenotyping of genetically engineered mice, histology, immunohistochemistry and spatial -omics, tissue processing and biospecimen science, database design and maintenance including digital pathology images. The Laboratory Research Manager is responsible for management of the lab including training and supervision of laboratory personnel to include both technical (SRA) and academic (GS, JS, etc.) tracks. They will oversee laboratory supplies and reagents, equipment performance and maintenance, quality assurance programs, and training records. They will also oversee management of the CGP laboratory, a recharge core laboratory, including rate review submissions, user communications, billing / invoicing / accounting in coordination with the department business office, and future-planning and growth management.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $98,300 - $210,300 (Annual Rate).

The Department of Pathology at UCSF aims to achieve the highest standards in patient care, research and education.
