Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification, BCLS, and at least one year of MRI experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital radiology department
  • Full-time, 13-week assignment
  • 12-hour rotating day / evening shifts, 3 shifts per week
  • Patient population and types of MRI cases to be determined by facility needs
  • No on-call required
  • 75-mile radius rule; local candidates not accepted
  • Must perform MRI exams and procedures according to established protocols
  • Role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills in MRI technology
  • Appropriate scrub or dress code as specified by the department

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year MRI Technologist experience required
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR)
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • License required if applicable
  • Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
