Payroll Supervisor

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company that is located in Dunellen, NJ. The Payroll Supervisor will oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves managing a small team and acting as a liaison between HR, Finance, and external vendors.

Payroll Supervisor (Temporary)
Location: Dunellen, NJ
Pay Rate: $38.00- 42.00/hour
Duration: Temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise payroll staff and daily payroll operations.
• Review and approve payroll runs for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Manage payroll system updates and process improvements.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management.
• Handle escalated payroll issues and provide guidance to team members.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Expertise in multi-state payroll and tax compliance.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in payroll systems (ADP, Paylocity) and MS Excel.
