Responsibilities :

    • Qualifications

  • Maintains equipment in good condition.
  • Keeps records of production quantities and time.
  • High school diploma / GED required, degree from technical school highly preferred, with 3 years' experience in mechanical assembly desired.
  • Must be mechanically inclined –good intuition, strong dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination and experience with hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings and follow directions required.
  • Familiarity with use of measuring instruments highly preferred.
  • Must be highly organized and attentive to detail, with ability to work under time constraints.
  • Good understanding of quality principles and math.
  • Strong verbal communication skills needed. Must be able to respond to others and ask questions appropriately. Ability to read and interpret information.
  • Must be professional and accountable. Accepts responsibility for own actions. Applies feedback to improve performance.
  • Must be able to lift - up to 100 Lbs.

    • Physical Demands

    Employee is required to stand; walk; bend; use hands to handle, feel, reach; use arms to lift and reach, be able to talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance and color vision, along with depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
