Role Summary :

A WS New York Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests of WS New York, as per WS New York Standards. The Server is expected to perform in a hospitable, efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive and anticipatory to our members’ and guests' needs. Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed while exceeding the expectations of all.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain a high level of hospitality and professionalism with each member, team member, and guest
• Protect the privacy of our members, teammates, and guests at all times
• Develop and retain a complete knowledge of all food, beverage, and dietary restrictions to answer member and guest questions
• Ensure all steps of service are completed
• Offer recommendations, take orders, and develop relationships with members and guests to deliver personal and notable experiences
• Ensure all orders in and out of the kitchen are accurate, on time, and of standard to members’ and guests’ expectations
• Execute opening and closing procedures associated with assigned station
• Work seamlessly and communicate with Sommeliers, Managers, and Server Assistants to assure members and guests have a valuable overall experience
• Handle disputes and / or complaints with the utmost respect, professionalism, and hospitality and go above and beyond to accommodate any member’s special request at all times
• Attend Food, Wine, and Team training opportunities

Requirements :
