About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Profession : Surgical Tech

Specialty : Surgical Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating shifts (Days / Evenings / Nights)

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Two (2) years of experience preferred; experience in a level 1 trauma setting is preferred

License : Tech License (New York License ONLY)

Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Must-Have :

• Certified Surgical Technician or eligibility for grandfathering under Public Health law
• Ability to scrub and circulate
• Pediatric experience preferred

Description :

Be a part of a multidisciplinary team that cares for pediatric patients across the age continuum.

Specialties include general surgery, urology, dental, OMFS, neurosurgery, plastics, burns, ENT, and orthopaedics.

Pediatric experience is helpful.

Job Duties :

Responsibilities include working collaboratively to provide care for pediatric patients.

The role requires the ability to scrub and circulate within the operating room setting.

Experience with a variety of surgical specialties is beneficial.

Adherence to safety and infection control protocols is essential.

Participation in continuous education and training is expected.
