RIS is looking to add a Safety Director to our growing Company! Our Team works with customers to meet expectations and deliver installation services in a safe but timely manner.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate daily operations and planning procedures to mitigate risks.
• Update current safety documents to reflect changes in Safety Program
• Utilize and implement industry best practices to promote a world-class safety culture.
• Lead and manage safety efforts on large-scale mission by working collaboratively with Project Managers and Safety Coordinators
• Design and Implement safety / training videos for each individual duty on the jobsite.
• Track and trend safety training completions to help proactively manage safety efforts.
• Manage safety material to support project needs.
• Assist with case / injury management.
• Manage and coordinate on-site training, wellness, and safety initiatives.
• Ensuring JSA’s and STAs are filled out correctly.
• Creating new JSA’s and STA’s as new work fronts or tools are added.
• Ensuring meaningful STA Meetings are being done daily.
• Monitoring staff to evaluate if health and safety is not at risk.
• Assessing equipment and machinery to gauge if they are in safe, working order; this will be done by daily Checks.
• Investigating on-site accidents
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel required – 75% to implement new processes and procedures.
