The Opportunity
As a Project Manager Ports and Maritime, Southeast U.S. , you will have the opportunity to operate as an energetic, client-focused leader with a broad range of ports and maritime experience to engage with clients, understand their needs, and lead high-performing solution teams to successfully pursue business opportunities for our company. The position is best suited for someone with high leadership capabilities and the ability to understand client needs and develop business growth prospects. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a growth strategy for the Southeast U.S. region. This position will focus primarily on growing our footprint by engaging with public agency ports and maritime entities, and coordinating with solution teams to ensure the delivery of quality consulting and engineering services. Desired experience includes proven client relationship management and knowledge of all facets related to the design and permitting of port and maritime infrastructure, including piers, terminals and marinas.
The Team
Black & Veatch's Governments & Communities sector focuses on specific infrastructure needs of municipalities, state and local governments, federal agencies, and public authorities. This includes delivering specialized physical and digital infrastructure solutions that develop and maintain critical infrastructure for port public agencies. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
