Family Service Association is seeking a Full Time (35 hours per week) Teacher Assistant in our Kids Academy Program located in Fall River. The hourly rate is $18.50 and the schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift hours. The center is open from 7 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m. In addition to the FT position we have 1 part time after school opportunity - details TBD (please specify interest in the PT role in the cover letter section when applying- bonus & benefits do not apply)

The Teacher Assistant will assist the Preschool Teacher and Preschool Director in the day to day functioning of the Preschool program and ensure the safety and well being of the children at all times.  The Teacher Assistant will remain alert to the needs and / or problems of the children as individuals and as a group.

Education and Experience :

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, or have a high school diploma or equivalent and must work at all times under the supervision of a Teacher.  Previous childcare experience preferred.
