Healthcare Data Analyst

To support value-based care initiatives, the full-time remote Medical Economics (MedEcon) Data Analyst will examine healthcare claims, build data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights. Key responsibilities: Examine claims to identify cost drivers, patient utilization trends, and care gaps Build data models and develop executive dashboards to forecast expenditures and quantify program savings Collaborate with finance, clinical operations, and provider networks to define reporting needs and execute analytics projects Required qualifications: Approximately 6 years of experience in healthcare analytics, reporting, or performance measurement Strong experience with claims, eligibility, utilization, EHR, and risk-based performance data Proficiency with SQL and modern BI tools, with a comfort in working closely with Data Engineering Demonstrated ability to lead analytics efforts in complex, cross-functional environments Experience supporting value-based contracts and client-facing reporting
