We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrative Assistant to support payroll operations. This on-site role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting audits, managing communications, and assisting with general office tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, sort, and delegate incoming mail and correspondence
  • Manage shared inboxes and respond to basic-level inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Provide administrative support for internal and external audits
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the payroll team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of office experience, with at least 1 year of exposure to Human Resources
  • Working computer knowledge and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills-both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Must be adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Payroll knowledge is a plus, but not required
  • Additional Information

  • This is a temporary position with the potential for a full-time opportunity, contingent on business needs and individual performance
  • The role is on-site in Meridian, ID
