This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to join our client's management team in Haddonfield, NJ, as the Director, Construction Services . This role involves managing the entire construction services division, overseeing NICET-certified staff, and providing critical support for major public infrastructure projects across the region.
This position is a high-visibility role with the potential for a partnership / shareholder track for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Division Management : Lead and manage all construction services activities and personnel within the department.
- Staff Oversight : Oversee and direct NICET-certified inspection and support staff on various project sites.
- Project Oversight : Provide comprehensive oversight for major public infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Agency Relationship Management : Leverage extensive experience working with key New Jersey state agencies (e.g., NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA ) to secure and execute contracts.
- Business Development : Actively participate in business development activities to expand the firm's construction management portfolio.
- Project Control : Implement and manage processes for Primavera scheduling, cost control, QA / QC (Quality Assurance / Quality Control) , and construction administration.
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
Education : Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering is required.Licensure (Mandatory) : Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license OR NICET Level IV certification .Experience : Demonstrated project oversight and management experience in large-scale construction or public works.Core Expertise & Skills
