The Role : VP of Strategic Accounts

As the VP of Strategic Accounts focused on Panalgo, you will play a pivotal role in selling and expanding our RWE generation capabilities into new and existing clients in the life sciences sector. This role requires a proven track record of sales and business development expertise, a deep understanding of RWD, RWE generation, applications and platforms and other RWD / E tools and services, along with the ability to drive adoption of Panalgo’s RWE platform, IHD, among our clients. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior‑level stakeholders, understanding their complex needs, and helping them to leverage our RWD / E solutions to enhance their business goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive Sales and renewal of Panalgo’s RWE Platform (IHD) and services : Focus on selling Panalgo’s comprehensive RWE capabilities, including the flagship IHD RWE platform, to accounts in the life sciences industry.
  • Business Development : Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within target accounts, working with key stakeholders to introduce Panalgo’s solutions to address their challenges in real‑world data utilization and evidence generation.
  • Relationship Management : Build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior‑level executives, including C‑level, ensuring high client satisfaction and engagement with Panalgo’s offerings. This includes networking beyond the primary buyer of IHD in order to solidify renewals and expand client ROI on Panalgo’s platform and services.
  • Market Intelligence : Stay current with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to position Panalgo as a leader in RWE creation and RWD utilization.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross‑functional teams and help direct efforts from those teams including Panalgo’s engagement team, product management, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment with customer needs and inform product evolution.
  • Strategy : In collaboration with other internal stakeholders, develop and own the strategy for IHD to be sold into, maintained and / or expanded within targeted new clients as well as existing accounts within your territory.
  • Cross‑team selling : where necessary, collaborate with RWD sales teams within Norstella to introduce Norstella’s RWD capabilities in order to meet client’s needs that may be identified through your interactions with those clients.
  • Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare data sectors.
  • RWD Expertise : In‑depth understanding of real‑world data applications, data analytics, and data‑driven insights within the life sciences industry.
  • Sales Acumen : Demonstrated success in a quota‑carrying sales role with a history of consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Strategic Thinker : Ability to understand complex client needs, develop tailored solutions, and strategically position Norstella’s offerings.
  • Communication : Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
  • Travel : 25–50%

  • The expected base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $185,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
