Test Engineer – API Development - 5 - 8+ yrs of Experience - TS / SCI w / Poly Clearance

Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Test Engineer  with experience in both the Software and Hardware worlds. A tester in this role would be enabling other test teams and testing activities by designing testing postures / frameworks at a macro and supporting work also being performed at the micro level. Members of this team will get a broad spectrum of the entire effort and help drive testing design / improvements.

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is :

5 years of experience

• 186K to 224K   (annualized USD).

8+ years of experience -

200K to 240K   (annualized USD).

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

Five (5) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

OR

Eight (8) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

A Bachelors degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience OR A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area). OR A Masters degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience OR A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
