Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Inspector to support the US Army Corps of Engineers at Ft. Gordon, GA. This is an onsite, full-time position.

Responsibilities should include :

• Perform field inspection and quality assurance.
• Perform daily site walks to inspect electrical installations (power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, telecom, security, generators, medium voltage, etc.
• Performed 3-phase inspections for electrical / telecommunications distribution infrastructure and fire alarm / MNS.
• Document deficiencies and track corrective actions.
• Confirm proper installation methods, conduit routing, cable sizing, panel labeling, bonding, and equipment placement.
• Update daily reports, inspections, and QA observations in RMS
• Verify contractor compliance with USACE EM 385-1-1 safety requirements.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings.
• Interface with 3rd party commissioning agent to facilitate commissioning process and validate results.
• Utilize the Resident Management System to write daily reports, track / respond to RFIs and provide solutions.
• Attend preparatory meetings, provide submittal reviews, RFI reviews, claim & estimate reviews, and attend briefings.
