Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

At Woodlake Healthcare we are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist Occupational Therapists in providing occupational therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Duties

• Implement individualized treatment programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their functional abilities
• Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures and techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required
• Experience in medical imaging, inpatient, acute care, geriatrics, outpatient, occupational health, or clinic settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
